One of Iran Microwave’s national projects in this province was carried out. In this project, all processes including needs assessment, consultation, link design, and complete equipment sales were performed, and in this article, we tried to review this project.
Iran Microwave Company, as one of the pioneers in designing and implementing microwave links in Iran, successfully completed the Kerman Province communication project last year (from start to finish). This project was executed with the aim of increasing bandwidth, reducing latency, and establishing a stable connection between two strategic points.
Needs Assessment and Initial Analysis
Customer Need: High-speed and stable connection between the origin and destination of the project in Kerman Province.
Route Features and Challenges:
Distance: ~۷۰ kilometers within Kerman Province, requiring repeaters.
Tower Height: 30 meters (to avoid obstacles)
Fresnel Zone: 60% clearance using Pathloss 5
Weather Impact: Signal reduction during heavy rainfall (~5 dB)
